Bangladesh Youth Games now to begin Mar 10

The Bangladesh Youth Games'2018 will now begin on March 10 instead of March 9 due to the AFC Cup play-off match billed for March 7 in the city, reports UNB.

The Group E play-off match of the AFC Cup between Dhaka Abahani Limited and New Radiant Club of the Maldives will be held on March 7 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate the Youth Games through a gala ceremony, featuring a laser show, fireworks and a grand cultural event.

Some 3,000 sportsmen and officials from eight divisions of the country will participate in 21 disciplines of sports in the meet.
