BCL 3rd round begins today

The 3rd round matches of the four-day Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) begins today (Wednesday) at two venues in Chattogram and Bogura, reports UNB.

League leader Walton Central Zone will take on Islami Bank East Zone at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogura while Prime Bank South Zone will play BCB North Zone in the other match at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram

After the 2nd round matches, former champions Walton Central Zone dominated the league securing 13.32 points, last time runners-up BCB North Zone followed the leaders collecting 7.99 points, Islami Bank East Zone were in the 3rd slot with 7.94 points while defending champions Prime Bank South Zone were in the bottom of the four-team league with 4.39 points.
