Bangladesh women's football team captain Sabina Khatun continued her brilliant show in the final round of the Indian Women's League breaking the deadlock in the 3rd match for Sethu FC's 2-0 win against Rising Students Club at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong, Meghalaya on Monday, reports UNB.

Sethu FC took the lead in the match as Sabina fired the net first in a quick counter-attack in the 47th minute.

Receiving a through ball from Sethu FC captain Indumathi, Sabina took control over the ball with a cutback and went inside deceiving two defenders brilliantly before curving a left-footed curler into the far post net.

Her teammate Manisha scored the 2nd goal in the 90th minute to extend the margin on their 2nd win in three games.

Sabina opened her account in the meet by scoring one goal to break the deadlock in their second match in the 17th minute for Kerala FC's 2-0 victory against Gokulam Kerala FC. Sabina scored two goals in her three appearances while another Bangladesh player Krishna Rani Sarkar is yet to score.
