Two times champions Bangladesh take on Nepal in their third match of the five-nation SAFF Under-15 Championship at the Kalyani Stadium in Nadia District of West Bengal today (Tuesday), reports UNB.

Both Bangladesh and India collected six points each from two matches with two wins.

But, the hosts reached the summit of the group by virtue of better goal difference (12-0=12) while Bangladesh's goal difference is (12-3=9).

Bangladesh, who already brightened their chances for final, now need to improve their goal difference for claiming the top slot of the group.

Two top teams of the league basis matches will advance to the final on August 31.

Holders Bangladesh made a flying start in the ongoing South Asian Junior soccer meet beating Bhutan by 5-2 goals in their first match on August 23 and crushing Sri Lanka by 7-1 goals on August 25, both at the same venue.

Bangladesh team manager Md Mohsin said, "We have won last two matches. Our boys were good, so we got good results.

We have to win today's match against Nepal."

While asking about the preparation, he said, "Coaches are working with their (players) fitness level."

Bangladesh U-15 football team captain Md Rakibul Islam said, "We have won two matches but we want to play our best game against Nepal.

We have no injury. Players are fit. We will continue attacking football."

In their last match, Bangladesh will play hosts India on August 29 at the same venue.

On the other hand, Bangladesh's opponents Nepal are in the 3rd slot securing 3 points from two matches with one win and one defeat.

Nepal started their campaign conceding 0-5 goals defeat against hosts India in their first match on August 21 but made a good comeback defeating Sri Lanka by 2-0 goals in their second match on August 23, both at the same venue.

In the day's another match, hosts India will play Sri Lanka at the same venue at 12:30 pm (BdST).

Bangladesh clinched their first title of SAFF Under-15 Championship beating India in penalty shootout (4-2) at the Sylhet District Stadium on August 18, 2015.
