Bowlers set up big win for Rangpur

A magnificent bowling display by skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza steered defending champions Rangpur Riders to record an overwhelming nine-wicket victory over Comilla Victorians in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), reports BSS.

The match was held at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city on Tuesday.

With this win, Rangpur secured four points, equal with table topper Dhaka Dynamites, from three matches while Comilla Victorians remained at their previous credit of two points from two outings.

Chasing a paltry winning target of 64 runs, Rangpur Riders hardly had to sweat as they comfortable reached home making 67 in 12 overs with nine wickets in hand.
