Dhaka Junior beat Tangail FA 1-0 in 3rd Div Football

Dhaka Junior Sporting Club beat Tangail Football Academy by 1-0 goal in the lone match of the Saif Power Battery Dhaka Metropolis 3rd Division Football League at Kamalapur Stadium in the city on Friday, reports UNB.

After a barren first, Robin scored the match-winner for Dhaka Junior in the 87th minute. Prior to the match, one minute silence was observed to pay respect for the renowned sports organiser Mohammad Nurullah who died of old age complication Friday morning at the BIRDEM hospital in the city. He was 86.

Former BFF member Mohammad Nurullah also served as secretary of the Metropolis Football League Committee and Premier Division Football League Committee, President of Pioneer Football League Committee and President of Dilkusha SC.

Two matches will be held today (Saturday) at the same venue with Rainbow SC taking on Dipali Jubo Sangha at 12:15pm and Mir Hazaribagh SC playing against Javid Ahsan Sohel KC at 2:45pm.
