Dhaka Mariner maintain all-win run record

Defending champions Dhaka Mariner Young's Club maintained their all-win record in the Green Delta Insurance Metropolis Premier Division Hockey League outplaying Dhaka Wanderers Club by 9-0 goals at the Maulana Bhashani National Stadium in the city on Sunday, reports UNB.

Penalty corner specialist Mamunur Rahman Chayan struck three, all from his favourite penalty corners, while Moinul Islam Kaushik, Mohsin Ahmed, Hasin Arman Arup, Mahbub Hossain, Pushkar Khisha Mimo and Hasan Jubair Niloy scored one each for the Mariner Young's Club.

The day's other match between Ajax SC and Wari Club ended in 2-2 draw at the same venue.

Harmandeep Singh and Rahat Sarwar scored one each for Ajax SC while Mukitul Islam and Samir Roy contributed one each for the Wari Club.
