Dhaka United crush Mukta Bihanga

Hockey Dhaka United earned a massive 12-2 goal victory over Mukta Bihanga Tarun Sangha in the Green Delta Insurance First Division Hockey League at the Maulana Bhashani National Stadium in the city on Wednesday, reports UNB.

Vijender Singh struck four field goals, Sajib Hossain Sifat scored three goals from penalty conrers, Syed Al Mamun and Raju Ahmed Topu scored two field goals each while Arafat Hossain Pial scored the remaining goal for Dhaka Hockey United from a penalty conrer.

Jamal Uddin Shawon and Saiful Islam scored one goal each for the Mukta Bihanga.

In the day's other match, Public Works Department (PWD) Sporting Club outplayed Farashganj Sporting Club by 8-3 goal at the same venue.

Alamgir struck two, Porimol, Faridul, Mehadi, Lobjot Singh and Jibon scored one goal each for the winners while Rabbi struck twice and Shafiqul one for the losers.
