Div I women's cricket league final now on Mar 3

The final match of the Dhaka Metropolis First Division Women's Cricket League between City Club and Sheikh Russel Sports Development Academy scheduled for Tuesday at the Gulshan Youth Club ground in the city, was called off due to wet outfield, reports UNB.

The 40-over-a-side final match will be held on March 3 at the BKSP ground-3 in Savar.

The champion of the 13-team league will qualify for the Premier Division Women's Cricket League from next season.

Earlier, Sheikh Russel SDA (137 for 5 in 22.3 overs) booked a seat for the final beating Rayer Bazar AC (133 all out in 30.4) by five wickets in the first semifinal at Kalabagan KC ground on Thursday.

On other hand, City Club (153 for 3 in 32.3 overs) reached the final eliminating Indira Road Cricket Academy (151 all out in 39) by 7 wickets in the 2nd semi-final at Gulshan Youth Club ground on Sunday.
