DU Fazlul Haque hall annual sports competition held

Physics department student Mehdi Hasan Lyon became champion in the Dhaka University (DU) Fazlul Haque Muslim Hall annual sports competition held at the university central playground on Friday, reports BSS.

Geography and environment department student Md. Roni Islam finished runner-up in the meet.

Earlier, DU pro-vice chancellor (education) Professor Mamun Ahmed formally inaugurated the competition as the chief guest.

Treasurer Professor M Jahangir Alam Chowdhury distributed prizes among the winners.

DU athletics committee president Professor SM Arif Mahmud, acting director of physical education centre SM Zakaria along with provosts of various halls, resident teachers and students were present on the occasion, presided by hall provost Prof. Elias Al-Mamun.
