Gold medal-winning shooter Sadia Sultana dies

Syeda Sadia Sultana, the shooter who took home a gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Shooting Championships, has died, reports bdnews24.com.
She passed away while undergoing treatment at an Intensive Care Unit at a hospital in Chattogram.
Sadia had been dealing with mental health issues for a long time. On Monday, she jumped from the roof of her home. She was admitted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital with injuries. She later died at the hospital.
Sadia won the gold medal in the 10 m air rifle pairs event at the Commonwealth Shooting Championships alongside Bangladeshi partner Sharmin Ratna.
That same year, Sadia had taken home gold at an event during the 2010 South Asian Games.
