Golden Glove winners at WC

Golden Glove, previously known as the Yashin Award, has been awarded to players since the 1994 World Cup.

In the 1994 World Cup held in the US, Michel Preud'homme of Belgium received the award helping his team reaching last 16. In a total of 360 minutes played he conceded four goals, achieving two clean sheets. In 1998, Fabien Barthez of France assisted his team to become the champions, securing five clean sheets and conceding two goals during the seven appearances made in the 684 minutes he played.

In the 2002 World Cup, Oliver Kahn of Germany also achieved five clean sheets. In 630 minutes played he conceded three goals helping Germany to finish runners-up.

In the 2006 World Cup, Gigi Buffon made seven appearances from Italy, conceding two goals in 345 minutes of his play. He helped Italy become the champions.

In 2010, Iker Casillas of Spain achieved five clean sheets and conceding two goals in the total 660 minutes of play. He saved a penalty and also faced one, helping his team to become champions.

In 2014, Manuel Neuer of Germany secured four clean sheets, conceding four goals and helping his team to become champions.

Thibaut Courtois of Belgium helped his team finish third at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

In the World Cup in Qatar 2022, Martinez, helped his team win the world cup.
