The super-five matches of the Green Delta Insurance Metropolis Premier Division Hockey League will begin tomorrow (Friday), reports UNB.
The matches will be held at the Maulana Bhashani National Stadium in the city.
Dhaka Mohammedan SC will take on Ajax SC in the opening match at 2 pm.
Metropolis Club Cup champions Dhaka Abahani Limited will face Sonali Bank Club in the other opening day's fixture at 4 pm at the same venue.
On the following day (Saturday), defending champions Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club will meet Sonali Bank Club at 2 pm. Dhaka Abahani Limited will encounter Ajax SC at 4 pm in the other opening day's match.
Earlier, top five teams of the 12-team league qualified for the title-deciding super league.
Dhaka Mohammedan SC is the only team to reach the super five stage with all win record securing full 33 points from straight eleven matches.
On completion of the eleven first phase matches, holders Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club finished 2nd collecting 30 points, followed by Dhaka Abahani Limited with 27 points, Sonali Bank Club with 24 points and Ajax SC with 19 points.
