Independence Day basketball final today

Bangladesh Navy take on Bangladesh Army in final of the Independence Day Basketball tournament scheduled to be held at Dhanmondi Basketball gymnasium in the city today (Friday), reports BSS.

On way to the final on Thursday, Bangladesh Navy beat Shaons Club by 84-58 points after leading the first half by 44-30 points in the first semifinal while Bangladesh Army defeated Border Guard Bangladesh by 63-44 points after dominating the first half by 32-20 points in the second semis.

National Sport Council Secretary M Masud Karim is expected to be present in the final as the chief guest and he will distribute prizes.
