Inter-district Women's V'ball advances to semis

Four teams- Pabna, Rajshahi, Rajbariand Khulna- reached the semifinals in the 12-team Popular Life Insurance 17th Inter-District Women's Volleyball Tournament. The teams eliminated their rivals in the quarterfinals at Shaheed Nur Hossain National Volleyball Stadium in the city on Wednesday, reports UNB.

In the semifinals on Thursday, Pabna will take on Rajbari at 3:00 pm while Rajshahi will play Khulna at 4:30 pm.

In the day's quarterfinals, Pabna beat Narail, Rajshahi defeated Chattogram, Rajbari outplayed Kishoreganj and Khulna beat Khagrachhari, all by 3-0 straight sets at the same venue.
