Winners of the annual sports competition of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall of Dhaka University, among others, posing for photograph after the event on the university campus in the city on Sunday Masuda Akter, a student of the Sociology Department, emerged champion in the annual sports competition of Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnessa Mujib Hall of Dhaka University on Sunday, reports UNB.
Reshma Akter Eti, a student of the Management Department, finished runner-up in the daylong meet held at the university's central playground.
DU Vice-chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the competition in the morning as the chief guest.
DU Pro-VC (Academic) Prof Dr Nasreen Ahmad was the chief guest at the closing ceremony and later she distributed prizes among the winners.
Provost of Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnessa Mujib Hall Prof Dr Zakia Parveen, Adviser and Director of Physical Education Centre Prof Dr M Ziaul Hoque Mamun, house tutors, students and officials of the hall were also present on the occasion.
