Moulvibazar, Cumilla, Bogura ensure last eight in National Youth Kabaddi

Moulvibazar, Cumilla and Bogura districts of boys' group, and Narail and Faridpur districts of girls' group ensured the last eight spot in final round of IGP Cup National Youth Kabaddi competition eliminating their respective rivals held on Friday at Paltan ground adjoining the Bangabandhu National Stadium, reports BSS.

In the day's boys' group matches, Moulvibazar beat Bogura by 38-28 points, Cumilla defeated Kishoreganj by 37-17 points, Rangpur outclassed Lalmonirhat 40-33 points and Jashore overpowered Barishal by 48-28 points to reach quarterfinal.

Meanwhile, in the girls' group matches held at the same venue, Brahmanbaria defeated Joypurhat by 29-26 points and Barishal outclassed Dinajpur by 45-24 points while Narail beat Jamalpur by 55-13 points and Faridpur edged past Khagrachhari by 17-16 points to ensure their spot of quarterfinal.
