Munir BCF's president

The Youth and Sports Ministry has appointed sports organiser Shafiullah A Munir as the new president of Bangladesh Cycling Federation (BCF), says a press release.

The ministry issued an order on Thursday that it appoints him as the president of BCF as per National Sports Council Act 1974 (amended).

Munir is the chairman of the Event Strategy and Development Committee of The Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) and Vice-President of Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF).

He is also Vice-President of Bangladesh Weight Lifting Federation as well as Vice-President of Bangladesh Archery Federation. Moreover, he is involved with some sporting clubs including Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club, Dhaka Victoria Sporting Club, Dhaka Wari Club, Bangladesh Sporting Club and Dipali Jubo Sangha.
