Neither Nahid Rana, nor Mustafizur Rahman will play in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will not provide them a no-objection certificate (NOC) to the duo for the remainder of the PSL season, report gencies.

Mustafizur and Nahid left PSL to return home to play the ODI series against New Zealand which ended on Wednesday with the Tigers achieving a 2-1 series victory.

Nahid was named the man of the series with eight wickets in three matches, while in the last match, Mustafizur took 5 wickets.

However, they were also not kept in the T20 series against the Kiwis starting Monday (April 27).

Mustafiz did not take the field in the first ODI against New Zealand due to discomfort in his knee, and he was not in the second match either.

After playing in the third ODI, Mustafiz's physical condition is being monitored, and he will undergo further scans before his reganilitation begins under the supervision of a BCB medical team. Thus, the pacer will not rejoin Lahore Qalanders for the remainder of the tournament. Although Mustafiz was initially supposed to return to the PSL after the ODI series, he is no longer going. A source from the BCB said that his rehabilitation process will continue until May 20. Due to this, Mustafiz has not yet signed up for any team in the Dhaka Premier League.

Meanwhile, the BCB has opted to keep Nahid Rana to ensure proper preparation ahead of next match test series against Pakistan.

The 23-year-old allrounder went to play in a franchise league outside the country for the first time in this PSL. The right arm fast bowler took seven wickets in four matches for Peshawar Zalmi at an average of 5.42 runs per over. Mustafizur Rahman took six wickets in five matches for Lahore Qalandars.
