Nahid picked by Peshwar, Litton joins Karachi, Rishad goes to Lahore

Bangladesh's Nahid Rana was picked by Peshawar Zalmi for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL). After that, Litton Das was picked by Karachi Kings, while Rishad Hossain roped in by Lahore Qalandars.

The HBL Pakistan Super League Player Draft 2025 is taking place at the Huzoori Bagh in Lahore Fort on Monday, report agencies.

Bangladesh speedster Rana was acquired by Peshwar Zalmi from the gold category.

Rana who is yet to make his T20 International debut caught the global attention for his raw pace.

His performance made a lasting impression so much so that the Peshwar Zalmi had no reservation to raise the paddle for the services of the youngsters.

Nahid will get the likes of Babar Azam, Siam Ayub in the Peshwar Zalmi.

Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman who were placed Platinum Category, the highest category in the draft didn't get any takers.

Around 30 Bangladesh players registered their names in the PSL draft which was held in Lahore on Monday.

Meanwhile, a day after his record-breaking century in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), wicket-keeper batter Liton Das got a team in the PSL.

Karachi Kings, the champions of the PSL in 2020, picked him up from the silver category of the draft. Liton, earlier, played in the same franchise in 2021.

Leg-spinner Rishad was the third player to get picked as Lahore.
