Police, Wari win in Premier Volleyball

Bangladesh Police and Wari Club won their respective matches in the Crony Group Dhaka Metropolis Premier Division Volleyball League at the Dhaka Volleyball Stadium in the city on Monday, reports UNB.

Wari Club beat Azad Sporting Club by 20-25, 25-16, 25-14, 19-25, 15-4 points in a keenly contested day's first match while Bangladesh Police earned a straight 25-23, 25-20, 25-21 points victory over Bangladesh Jail in the day's other match. In the First Division Volleyball League, Bangladesh Ansar beat Uttara Sporting Club by 25-15, 25-14, 25-15 points at the same venue. In the 2nd Division League, Banani Nabarun Sangha defeated Madartek Mitali Sangha by 25-15, 25-21, 25-17 points while Friends Union Club got walkover against Jubo Sangha in the other match.
