Premier Cricket super-six battles start Saturday

After finishing the league phase of Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, the top six teams will play-off the rounds at three separate venues in the capital and its adjoining areas on Saturday, reports UNB.

On the opening day, defending champions and the sixth slot holders in this edition after league phase Gazi Group Cricketers will face league leader Abahani Limited at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur.

The second slot holders Legends of Rupgonj will take on the fifth place holder Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) ground 3 at Savar.

First ever qualifier of the super-six fray, Khelaghar Shamaj Kalyan Shamity will play against fourth slot holder Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club at Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium at Fatullah.

Fixture of the next two rounds of the super-six sides in List 'A' league:

March 27: Abahani vs Sk Jamal DC at KSOAS; Legends of Rupgonj vs Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club at SBNCS; Khelaghar Shamaj Kalyan Shamity vs Gazi Group Cricketers at BKSP 3.

March 30: Abahani vs Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club at BKSP 3; Legends of Rupgonj vs Khelaghar Shamaj Kalyan Shamity at KSOAS; Sk Jamal DC vs Gazi Group Cricketers at SBNCS.
