PWD maintain winning run beating Bachelors

Public Works Department (PWD) Sporting Club maintained their winning run in the Green Delta Insurance First Division Hockey League beating Bachelors Sporting Club by 3-2 goal at the Maulana Bhashani National Stadium in the city on Wednesday, reports UNB.

PWD SC outplayed Bornak Samaj by 11-0 goal in their last match on Tuesday.

In the day's first match, Alamgir, Akash and Labjat Singh scored one goal each for the PWD SC while Harbir Singh and Santosh contributed one each for the Bachelors Club.

The day's other league match between Mukta Bihanga Tarun Sangha and Shantinagar Club ended in 1-1 draw at the same venue.

Shahed Hossain put Shantinagar Club ahead in the 20th minute by a field goal while Saiful Islam leveled the margin for Mukta Bihanga in the 36th minute, also by a field goal.
