Quarterfinals of Nat'l School Cricket tourney begins today

The quarterfinals of the Prime Bank Young Tigers National School Cricket Tournament begins at country's two northern venues - Rangpur Cricket Gardens and Lalmonirhat District Stadium today (Thursday), reports UNB.

Eight teams --Seven Divisional champions and Dhaka Metro champions -- will battle for the national school crown on knockout basis. All the matches will kick-off at 9 am.

Defending champions and Rajshahi Division champions Bogura Police Lines School and College will play Dhaka Metro champions Wiles Little Flower School and College at Lalmonirhat District Stadium while Barishal Division champions Pirojpur Government Boys High School will encounter Khulna Division champions Bagerhat ML School and College at Rangpur Cricket Garden in the quarterfinals today (Thursday).
