Rain washes out Day 1 of BD-SL 2nd 4-dayer

COX'S BAZAR, Sept 03 (UNB): The first day's play of the 2nd and final four-day unofficial Test between Emerging High-Performance (HP) Cricket teams of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka was washed out on Tuesday.

Even the toss was not held due to unplayable condition following rain in the morning at Sheikh Kamal International Stadium in Cox's Bazar. The match will start on the second day (Wednesday) if the weather remains favourable.

The first four-day unofficial Test match between the two teams ended in a draw at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna on Friday.

In the first unofficial Test, Bangladesh scored 360 runs in the first innings and made 102 for 4 in the 2nd innings at end of the final day to settle for a draw.
