Rokeya Hall holds annual athletics competition

Annual athletics competition of Dhaka University (DU) Rokeya Hall was held at the university's central playground on Sunday, reports BSS.

DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the competition.

Later, Pro-VC (academic) Prof Nasreen Ahmad distributed the prizes among the winners with Hall Provost Prof. Zeenat Huda in the chair.

Laboni Islam Chumki, a master's student of History Department, and Monira Chowdhury, a second year student of Microbiology Department, became joint champions.

Salma Akter, a master's student of Islamic Studies Department of the university, bagged the runner-up position.
