Saif SC to play TC Sports of Maldives today

Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) team Saif Sporting Club will play the Maldives Premier League runners-up TC Sports Club in a preliminary stage of the AFC Cup - 2018 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city today (Tuesday) with both the teams are optimistic about winning the match, reports UNB.

The match will kick off at 3pm (Bangladesh time). ATN Bangla will telecast the match live while Bangladesh Betar will broadcast the running commentary.

TC Sports Club, which won the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup crown in Chittagong in March last year, will play their home match against the same team on January 30 at the National Stadium in Male.

Addressing a pre-match press conference at the BFF Bhaban in the city on Monday, Head Coach of Saif SC Ryan Northmore and captain Jamal Bhuiyan said, "We are more balanced and stronger side than the Maldives team, we are confident of winning the match, displaying our best performances."

Head Coach of TC Sporting Club Mohamed Nizam and skipper Ahmed Farrah said, "We want to back home with a winning advantage in the away match against Saif SC playing our best football, the match will be keenly contested one."
