Shafiul champion in DU Jasimuddin Hall Sports

Shafiul Alam, a 3rd year student of the Department of Marketing of Dhaka University, emerged champion in the Kabi Jasimuddin Hall Annual Sports Competition held at the university central playground on Monday, reports UNB.

Three students: Al Amin of the Department of Banking and Insurance, KM Shahriar Ferdous of the Department of Accounting and Information System and Sheikh Maruf Hasan of the Department of Finance -- finished joint runners-up in the daylong meet.

Treasurer of Dhaka University Prof Dr Kamal Uddin inaugurated the meet in the morning while DU Vice-chancellor Prof Dr Akhtaruzzaman distributed prizes as the chief guest at the closing function presided over by Provost of the dormitory Prof Dr Mohmmad Rahmatullah.
