The official Bangladesh team photograph for ICC World Cup, with just 14 of the 15 players — ESPNcricinfo Bangladesh's biggest player will be missing from the team's official World Cup picture - and all because he left the ground before the photo session took place.
Shakib Al Hasan, who had arrived in Dhaka on Sunday and had come to the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city to report to the team management, apparently left before the team gathered for the photo on the outfield, reports ESPNcricinfo.
BCB president Nazmul Hassan said that he came to know Shakib was informed of the team's schedule on what was officially the final day of training in Dhaka, before the team's departure for Dublin, to play a tri-series against Ireland and West Indies, on May 01.
"It is disappointing, what else can I say?" Hassan said.
