Siddikur looks unsteady in Taiwan Masters

Bangladesh's celebrity golfer Siddikur Rahman shared the 23rd spot after the 1st round of the $800,000 Mercuries Taiwan Masters at Taiwan Golf and Country Club on Thursday, reports UNB.
Siddikur carded one-under-par 71, taking six shots more than the solo leader Settee Prakongvech (7-under-par 65) of Thailand.
The two-time Asian Tour winner, Siddikur teed off to trade four birdies against three bogies to share his place with 17 other golfers.
In the 1st 9, Siddikur geared up at the 7th putt with a birdie after a balanced form of six successive even pars, but finished the session with a bogie in the last hole.
He started the 2nd session with a dismal bogie, bounced back with the putt of the 12th and 13th holes with consecutive birdies and again found him down towards in the next hole with another bogie before birdied in the 15th to escape an over-par.
