Sixth round of BCL begins today

The 6th and final round of four-day first class cricket of the Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) begins today (Monday) in separate venues across the country, reports UNB.

Defending champions and league leader BCB North Zone will take on Prime Bank South Zone at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna while lowly Islami Bank East Zone will play Walton Central Zone at the Shahid Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi.

After the 5th round matches, holders BCB North Zone clearly dominated the league table securing 60 points.

Prime Bank South Zone followed the leaders collecting 47 points, Walton Central Zone were in the 3rd slot securing 42 points while Islami Bank East Zone remained at bottom collecting 41 points.
