Soccer Club, Feni hold Muktijoddha

Lowly Soccer Club, Feni held Muktijoddha Sangsad KC to 1-1 draw in the Nitol-Tata Bangladesh Premier Football League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Wednesday, reports UNB.
Nigerian forward Agbulu Inalegwu scored for Muktijoddha SKC while Akbar Hossain Ridon netted for the Soccer Club, with both goals coming in the first half.
With the day's match, Muktijoddha SKC secured 12 points while Soccer Club, Feni bagged 4 points, both playing eight matches.
Muktijoddha took lead in the 32nd minute as their opportunist Nigerian forward Agbulu Inalegwu headed the ball home, capitalizing on a volley of his compatriot Nkwocha Kingsley that came his way via a punch by Soccer Club goalie Mohammad Nehal (1-0).
Akbar Hossain Ridon leveled the margin for Soccer Club in the 37th minute by a header, utilising a Ali Hasan corner (1-1).
Earlier, Muktijoddha came close to score in the 8th minute, but a Zahed Parvez volley from the middle of the box went out of play.
Muktijoddha SKC created strong pressure over Soccer Club in the second half but their Nigerian player Nkwocha Kingsley wasted two easy chances in the 22nd and 28th minutes.
Again in the 81st minute, Nkwocha Kingsley went past the Feni Soccer defense with the ball, but opponent custodian Nehal dived to his feet and Nkwocha lost control. Finally, Muktijoddha midfielder Iqbal Hossain Bhuiyan sent the ball wide despite an open net.
