Swimmer Najma ends CWG with dismal performance

Bangladeshi swimmer Najma Khatun completed her engagement in the ongoing Gold Coast Commonwealth Games with dismal performances in both of her events at the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre in Australia on Saturday, reports UNB.

Najma, a swimmer from Kushtia, finished 28th among 29 swimmers in the women's 50m butterfly with a timing of 32.96 seconds on Saturday. She finished 4th among the five competitors in heats.

Earlier on Friday, Najma finished 37th among 40 competitors in the 50m freestyle clocking 31.10 seconds.
