Two Indian pairs reach girls' doubles final

Two Indian pairs reached the girls' doubles final of the Islami Bank Bangladesh 31st International Junior Tennis Championship eliminating their rivals in the semifinals at the Ramna National Tennis Complex in the city on Thursday, reports UNB.

Indian pair Yubarani Banerjee and Prathyusha Rachapudi beat their compatriots Meghna Mallath and Ishita Singh by 7-6, 7-5 while another Indian pair Riddhi Ramesh Sharma and Mubashira Anjum beat Chinese Taipei pair Ja- Yo Hou and Chen Chen LIAO by 7-5, 6-2 to reach final.

Besides, the boys and girls singles events advanced to the semifinal stages on the 4th day of the meet at the same venue on Thursday.
