Wari, Bangladesh SC post win in premier hockey

Wari Club registered a 5-2 victory against Azad Sporting Club in the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League at Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Tuesday, reports UNB.

Billal Hossain scored two penalty corner goals in the 44th and 53rd minutes.

Nepuni Nitish fired the net first with a penalty corner goal in the 12th. Suprojit and Nizam Uddin scored one field goal each in the 56th and 57th minutes for the winners respectively.

Jishan and Debashish Roy scored one goal each converting penalty strokes in the 40th and 65th minutes for the losing side.

In the day's another match at the same venue, Bangladesh Sporting Club beat Dhaka Wanderers Club by 2-1 goals.

Javinder Singh and Nahid Iqbal Prince scored one field goal each for the winners in the 15th and 39th minutes respectively.

Mustafizur Rahman Lalon netted one penalty corner goal in the 37th minute for the losing team.
