West Indies whitewash Tigresses in T20 series

Bangladesh Women's team lost the third and final T20 International to West Indies by five wickets to taste an ignominious whitewash in the three-match series in this format at Basseterre in St Kitts on Saturday (as per BST), reports BSS.
The visiting Bangladesh team lost the first match by eight wickets and the second by 106 runs after failing to resist.
Before the T20 series, they lost the three-match ODI series by 2-1. But the victory in the first ODI was their first on West Indies soil in any cricket format.
However, Bangladesh failed to come up with terms in batting in final match also as they were restricted to 104-8 after being asked to bat first. Captain Nigar Sultana Joty waged a lone battle by making 33 runs while Dilara Akter was the other notable contributor with 21.
