Young Tigers take 2-0 lead in ODI series beating SL

Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket team took 2-0 lead in the five-match Youth ODI series thrashing Sri Lanka by 161-run in the 3rd match at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Thursday, reports UNB.

The Young Tigers beat Sri Lanka by 5 wickets in the 2nd match at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna last Monday as the first match was abandoned due to cyclonic storm Bulbul at the same venue last Saturday.

In the 3rd match in Chattogram, a brilliant century by Towhid Hridoy helped Bangladesh to pile up a massive 340-run for 7 in stipulated 50 overs after Sri Lanka sent the hosts to bat after winning the toss.

Towhid remained unbeaten on 123 runs off 98 balls smashing 8 fours and 6 sixes.
