Abdul Mannan becomes DMD of MTB

Abdul Mannan has recently became Mutual Trust Bank's (MTB) deputy managing director (DMD), according to a statement.

Prior to the promotion with effect from January 01, he served as senior executive vice president and head of MTB's Branch Banking Division.

With over 17 years of dedicated service at MTB, Mr Mannan has demonstrated exceptional leadership and operational expertise.

He has successfully managed Dhanmondi branch, Gulshan branch, and Panthapath branch.

Mr Mannan began his banking career at NCC Bank and brings a wealth of experience from his 36-years career in banking.

His expertise spans various disciplines, including board division, relationship management across customer segments, branch banking, commercial banking, financial Institutions, SME, and retail business. He also has hands-on knowledge in recovery, foreign exchange, and general banking.

Mr Mannan completed his BSC (Honours) and MSC from University of Dhaka. Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous local and international training programmes, workshops, and seminars. Additionally, he frequently delivers lectures on various banking-related topics at different training institutes and academies.
