The Business Development Conference 2018 of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd was held recently at Hotel Le Meridian Dhaka. Chairman of the Bank, Alhajj Abdus Samad Labu inaugurated the conference as the Chief Guest. The meeting was presided by Managing Director Md. Habibur Rahman while directors of the Bank were present as Special Guests. Managers from 154 branches of the Bank participated in the conference. The conference was addressed by Vice Chairman of the Bank Alhajj Abdus Salam, Directors Alhajj Hafez Md. Enayet Ullah, Alhajj Abdul Malek Mollah, Alhajj Md. Harun-Ar-Rashid Khan, Alhajj Engr. Khondoker Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Alhajj Md. Anowar Hossain while Director Md. Amir Uddin PPM was present. Among others Deputy Managing Directors Kazi Towhidul Alam, Md. Fazlul Karim, Muhammad Mahmoodul Haque, S. M. Jaffar, Mohammed Zubair Wafa, Principal of AIBTRI Md. Nurul Islam Khalifa and other Senior Executives of Head Office were present on the meeting. Managers from 154 branches of the Bank participated on the conference.
According to the un-audited calculation, total deposit of the Bank stood at Tk 265 billion after the end of year 2017. At the same period the Bank invested Tk 242 billion.
Import and export of the Bank were Tk.136 billion and Tk 101 billion respectively.
