Ali Reza joins Union Bank as CFO

Union Bank PLC has appointed Md Ali Reza as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the bank, says a statement.

With over 26 years of experience in the banking and non-banking financial sectors, Mr Reza brings unparalleled expertise and leadership to this critical role.

Mr. Reza's started off his career in 1998 as a Probationary Officer at the Sonali Bank PLC, where he earned recognition for his work in Branch banking operations, SME financing, Corporate credit, Project finance, Foreign Trade Operations and Central Accounts.

He later served in key leadership positions at Standard Bank PLC.

Mr. Reza holds an MBA in finance from the University of Dhaka, and he is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh.
