Amari Dhaka to celebrate Pahela Baishakh with traditional events

Amari Dhaka has announced its plans for celebrating Pahela Baishakh, the first day of the Bengali New Year, with a range of activities reflecting the rich traditions of the Bengali culture.
The hotel will host a variety of events, including a bioscope show, fortune teller, Dhak Dhol performances, and other cultural entertainment. These activities aim to capture the festive spirit of the occasion, says a statement.

Amari Dhaka's signature restaurant, Amaya Food Gallery, will offer traditional Bangladeshi dishes during both brunch and dinner. The menu will feature items such as 'Roshna Shondha' and 'Panta Parban,' prepared by experienced Bengali chefs. The Panta Parban brunch is priced at Tk 5,999 net (Pay 1, Eat 2), while the Roshna Shondha dinner buffet is available for Tk 8,999 net (Pay 1, Eat 4).
In addition, Amari Dhaka will hold a traditional Boishakhi Mela at Cascade Terrace, offering a range of activities, including dhak dhol performances, a bioscope show, bangle selling, face painting, and mehedi art. The Baishakhi Mela will take place from 11:00am to 6:00pm. The Baishakhi Brunch (Panta Parban) will be served at Amaya Food Gallery from 11:30am to 3:30pm and the Dinner Buffet (Roshna Shondha) will be available from 6:30pm to 10:30pm on April 13, 14, and 15.
