Anwar Hossain
Anwar Hossain Chowdhury has been elected as the chairman of the Executive Committee of Islamic Finance and Investment Limited (IFIL) at the 235th meeting of the board of directors at IFIL head office in the city recently, according to a statement.
He is the Managing Director of A.J Group and sponsor director of Takaful Islami Insurance Limited.
He is also the chairman of Cardiff International School and former chairman of the board of trustees of Eastern University. He is founder, director and patron of a number of school, college, madrasah and mosque in his hometown, the statement added.
