BADC SETS UP STALL AT 'NATIONAL TREE FAIR'

A month-long 'National Tree Plantation Campaign and Tree Fair' is being held at Agargaon in the capital. Like previous years, the Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) has set up a stall at the fair that began on July 9. The BADC stall features saplings of a wide variety of domestic and exotic flowering, fruit-bearing, medicinal, rare, and endangered plant species. The stall has attracted a large number of visitors. On Saturday, BADC Chairman Md. Azizul Islam visited the corporation's stall and inspected its activities. He instructed officials to ensure that saplings are supplied to buyers at the prescribed and affordable prices.
