BANCASSURANCE SERVICE LAUNCHED AT MIDLAND BANK

Bancassurance service, an initiative of Bangladesh Bank and the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority of Bangladesh (IDRA), was launched through a formal ceremony organised by Midland Bank and Desh General Insurance at the private bank's head office recently. Through the bancassurance service, insurance customers can now easily avail of various insurance products and services under the bancassurance of Desh General Insurance from any branch of Midland Bank. Imtiaz Uddin Ahmed, managing director of Midland Bank and Mohammodi Khanam, chief executive officer of Desh General Insurance Company, were present at the programme along with other senior officials.
