Bangladesh General Insurance Company holds 40th AGM

The 40th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Bangladesh General Insurance Company PLC (BGIC) was held on a virtual platform at its head office on Sunday. Chairman of the company Towhid Samad chaired the meeting. A large number of shareholders including Ahmed Saifuddin Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of the company, attended the meeting. The BGIC approved a 10 per cent cash dividend for the year 2024. The meeting was also attended by Public Director Md Shakil Rizvi, Nominated Director Mohammad Manjur Mahmud, Independent Director Nasir Uddin Chowdhury and Deputy Managing Director Saifuddin Ahmed.
