Bangladeshi designer showcases dresses at Washington DC

Bangladeshi fashion designer Fatima Farzana showcased 12 luxury statement dresses at Washington DC Fashion Week recently, according to a press release received on Tuesday.

Her collection, titled "Canvas to Couture," blended traditional Bangladeshi craftsmanship with modern design.

Using rare fabrics like Dhaka Muslin and Rajshahi Silk, Farzana brought the rich heritage of Bangladeshi textiles to the global spotlight.

The show, held at the DC Housing Center, was one of the standout events of the week.
