BANK ASIA HOLDS 26TH AGM

The 26th annual general meeting (AGM) of Bank Asia was held virtually on Tuesday. Mr. Romo Rouf Chowdhury, chairman of the bank, presided over the meeting. Shareholders of Bank Asia approved 20 per cent dividend (10 per cent cash and 10 per cent stock) for the year 2024. Ms. Zakia Rouf Chowdhury, vice chairman, Mr. Rumee A Hossain, chairman of the board executive committee, Mr. M. A. Baqui Khalily, chairman of the board audit committee and board risk management committee, along with other senior officials and a large number of shareholders joined the AGM.
