The Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI), Gazipur has been honoured with the National Environment Award 2024 in the category of 'Environmental Research and Innovation in Technology.' The award was presented at a grand ceremony held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka on Wednesday on the occasion of World Environment Day and Environment Fair 2025. BARI Director General Dr Md Abdullah Yousuf Akhond received the award on behalf of the organisation.
