BGMEA's standing committee holds meeting

The first meeting of the BGMEA standing committee on sweater affairs was held at the BGMEA conference room in Chattogram recently, reports BSS.

Chairman of the BGMEA standing committee on sweater affairs Faizul Matin presided over the meeting. BGMEA Vice President and Director-in-Charge of the standing committee on sweater affairs Mohammad Rafiq Chowdhury emphasized the need for identifying the problems facing the sector and thus taking appropriate measures, said a press release on Thursday.

He also stressed the need for exploring new markets, including in Europe, to increase exports, thereby boosting factories and investments in this sector.
