BIIF-NCC Bank jointly launch Islamic Banking Training

A six-day training programme titled 'Professional Certificate in Islamic Banking (PCIB)', jointly organised by the Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Finance (BIIF) and National Credit and Commerce Bank PLC, was inaugurated, at the BIIF Training Hall in Dhaka on Sunday. M. Shamsul Arefin, Managing Director and CEO of NCC Bank, attended the opening ceremony as the chief guest while Prof Dr. M. Abdul Aziz, Director General of the Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) and Founding Director of BIIF, presided over the event. Prof Dr. H. M. Mosarof Hossain, Chairman, Department of Finance, University of Dhaka, and A. Q. M. Safiullah Arif, Head of the Islamic Banking Division of NCC Bank, attended the programme as special guests.
